Description: The replica of the standard was presented in honour of the Anglo-French cooperation in the Battle of Amiens, 8th August 1918. The presentation takes place in the street in front of the Ministry of Works in Whitehall. Making the presentation are General Viscount de la Panonse and Colonel Marie of the regiment. Receiving the standard for the Imperial War Museum are Sir Alfred Mond, First Commissioner of Works, Sir Martin Conway and Major C J ffoulkes. The ceremony has attracted the attention of a small crowd of passers-by and employees of the ministry.
